The Parish Council shall act as a representative body of the Community of God in Holy Transfiguration Parish in common with one another and with the Pastor to meet, deliberate, and act in common agreement on those matters for which they are responsible and which concern the good of the Church, and the Parish; to confer with and advise the Pastor on any matters which are brought to its attention, and to promote the Christian life and actions of the people of the Parish to the fulfillment of our Christian heritage and responsibilities.

All active Parish members in good standing for at least two years and at least 18 years of age are eligible to serve on the Parish Council or any committee formed under authority of the Parish Council.

The Holy Transfiguration men’s group is the fraternal fellowship of the parish as is for men who enjoy the company of other real men doing real men things - Orthodox prayer, big bonfires, and adult beverages. In the tradition of the Holy Myrrh Bearers, the Ladies Guild of Holy Transfiguration is a group of women following Jesus Christ and ministering to Him. Every woman has unique gifts to share in this mission. For more information, please click here to visit our Ladies Guild Page.
Under the auspices of St. Gregory the Theologian Catechetical School, we offer a variety of adult education opportunities. Throughout the year we offer various individual talks as well as lecture series on various topics of contemporary relevance from 12:30-1:30. In addition, our adult Sunday school class meets on select Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:15 as scheduled. Finally, we host various outside speakers throughout the year. Our adult education programs, normally offered in the parish hall or on the back patio, are open to any interested adult! Feel free to join our discussion or just sit back and listen. The Melkite Youth Group is a group of Melkite Catholic young people, bound together by Christ’s love and a desire to grow closer to our God.
